Ideal Self Catering Accommodation close to the Dalesway National Trail walking route.

The Dales Way is an 82 mile walking route through the Yorkshire Dales beginning in Ilkley, West Yorkshire and finishing in Bowness on Windermere in Cumbria. Most of the route lies within the Yorkshire Dales National Park, an area of outstanding natural beauty with much diversity in plant and animal life.  The terrain is gentle, with good surfaces underfoot.  The route follows rivers much of the way, but includes moorland and limestone pavement providing dramatic views of the surrounding hills and valleys. The Dales Way passes through Wharfdale, Langstrodale, over Oughtershaw Moss, down into Dentdale and  the Lune Valley, and finally meets the Rivers Mint, Sprint and Kent before descending to the town of Bowness on Lake Windermere.

There are many pleasures to be found in these open spaces, but the route also takes in the charming Dales villages of Burnsall, Dent, Grassington and Kettlewell as well as many points of interest such as Bolton Priory and St. Michaels church at Hubberholme.

Friendly pubs are another enjoyable feature of the walk.
